Fatollahzadeh, "Only Koch decideds"

PLDC  - The chairman of Esteghlal Tehran club, Ali Fathollahzadeh is fully supportive of Ronald Koch, club head coach, and the technical staff of the club. He will not make any changes to the staff without the confirmation of the head coach. In a short interview with the press he commented, "At present there will be no changes to the technical staff of the club."

"If Koch needs more time, we may add one more coach to our staff. We have to give him time. I believe in him and I know that he will breathe new life into Esteghlal. Getting him was not easy and we won't lose him easily. Winning and losing is the nature of football but we still have not become optimally ready. The other league clubs are not any better off than we are. Esteghlal must adjust itself with a new system and way of thinking and that is why we have brought Koch. He is solely responsible for every technical and player decision in the club."

"We have held preliminary discussions with Al Shaab of the UAE club about the transfer of Momenzadeh but nothing has been finalized as yet. If the suggestion by Al Shaab is suitable, the transfer will take place."
